Cant understand why my draft got declined
[edit]Hi, my draft about a game recently got declined, im not a ''professional in reading'' but i cant really get the reasoning of the decline of my draft, why is this? SinclairUkiri (talk) 17:16, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- @SinclairUkiri (talk page watcher) the reasons in the bug decline box. Your first port of call shoudl be the declining reviewer. However, your draft is completely unreferenced. As an additional issue it also appears to be a massive advert form the game you designed.
- We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion, certainly today. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:21, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- See the thing is that i can't enter any references, cause they dont exist. The place where the game is in is itch.io, should i just copy paste the URL in there? Really because that is the only place that the game is on and it was just created about 2 weeks ago SinclairUkiri (talk) 17:34, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- SinclairUkiri read Wikipedia:notability (video games), Wikipedia:reliable sources, Wikipedia:Conflict of interest , your game is a non-starter as a Wikipedia article Jimfbleak - talk to me? 19:58, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
